Petert4522's answer is correct.

It all is on the stamp.

Correio(s) is the Portuguese word for post(s).
The frame reads Estados Unidos do Brazil (United States of Brasil).
The banner below the portrait reads cem 100 reis, cem meaning 100.

The datestamp appears to be from (N)OV 97 (so November 1897).

Looks like an very faded Scott 116b rose & black, first issued in 1896.

albeit, I do not have the specialist Catalogue,
I have it as Sc# 116
This stamp appears with 5 differing heads.

You , might want to have another go at it. The value is 100R. Even if you, for some reason, think it is a two and not a one, the word to the left of the numeral is cem. This is Portuguese for 'hundred.' The 200R has 'REIS' on both sides of the numeral.

Also, the colour is faded pink, not orange.
