I was lucky enough to purchase an excellent European Collection in Scott and Schaubek albums. I like this collection because in many countries the collector added specialized pages. In the case of France he mimicked the Yvert album which offers spaces for color varieties in the classic. This is the type of collection I'd like to build but can never find the time.

Nice purchase!

The Peace & Commerce are amongst my favourite stamps.

On the second page, the first stamp is actually French Colonies, with the somewhat rare OCN postmark for Oceania. The second of the 40c orange stamps appears to also be French Colonies. The postmark is likely to be Guadeloupe.

Useful lot, although missing most of the pricier stuff. S/he seems to be following Maury, rather than Yvert for the Ceres/Napoleon issues. Obviously ran out of interest/examples on the later issues. The Scott pages are a design mess - far too many stamos on a page, including stamps issued decades apart.
