I've inherited 1,000's of stamps from around the world. Books that have packages of stamps that were supposed to be placed on certain pages, but were never opened. Looney Tune stamps, used new, canceled, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Christmas stamps, special edition stamps, animal stamps, presidents, red cross, etc. I'm in Missouri? Any recommendations?

Would like to have someone take a look at them and give me a value and insight as to what I have. Anyone from Missouri that knows a reputable company to take them to?

MissItaly21, go to www.stamps.org , the American Philatelic Society's website. There you will find a listing of all the stampclubs in your area, and you might want to contact one of them .
You could also show us some pictures here?

Show scans/pictures on SCF. From your brief description sounds like stamps valued at 1-2 each. 1,000 stamps would be worth $15.

If you have post-1930s mint US stamps, their main value is likely to be as postage. In the UK, mint postage goes for about 50% of face value - more if higher denominations, less if lower denominations.

I've got a plethora of different stamps, some pretty and post, foreign and domestic, stamped postcards, varieties of all sorts from animals, presidents, looney tunes, books that have never been opened filled with stamps dating back to pre and post 1930's. I'm totally lost. I'm putting them in order from 1/2 cents to 6 cents, starting new envelopes and have sorted the foreign ones. I've posted a couple. Will start posting some unusual ones as I'm going thru them today. Thanks for the info.. we'll appreciated.

Are they in printed albums that have names? In shoeboxes? regular envelopes? loose? All these are clues to what you might have. If you have a published album with stamps inside - are the stamps in mounts so they are fully protected or attached by little thin pieces of paper call hinges? If you have albums, scan images of the oldest stamps (1800s maybe?) in the album of countries like the U.S., Great Britain, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, Canada .. and please post those ... (be careful with such stamps - condition is everything!)
