The Verreaux's sifaka The Verreaux's sifaka (Propithecus verreauxi) also called white sifaka, is a one of the lemur families, the Indriidae. It lives in Madagascar and can be found in a variety of habitats from rainforest to western Madagascar dry deciduous forests and dry and spiny forests. This is the best Sifaka stamp I have. It designed and engraved by Pierre Gandon and issued by Madagascar on December 9, 1961:  Madagascar, Issued on December 6, 1963 Madagascar, issued in 1999 (probably illegal) Liberia, issued on February 8, 1999 Maldives Islands, issued on July 20, 1993:

Here is a group of items shows the prosimian Spectral Tarsier (Tarsius spectrum), a species of tarsier found on the island of Selayar in Indonesia. Flora and Fauna day, issued by Indonesia on November 5, 1998:  This SS issued by Indonesia on March 19, 1999 to publicize the Melbourne stamps exhibition '99:  Laos, issued on March 4, 1993:  Spectral Tarsier, issued by North Korea on March 25, 2000 (the other stamp shows Patas monkey). The stamps were issued in a small sheet in booklet. Enclosed the booklet cover shows the Tarsier:

The Sunda Slow Loris (Nycticebus coucang) is a prosimian primate and a species of slow loris native to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore and other SE Asian countries. Not many postmarks in my Prosimian collection, only two or maybe three: Tarsier in Frankfurt zoo, Germany, meter from 1983:  Other type of the above meter, but this one from 1984 publicizes the Frankfurt zoo:  A couple of Lemurs or other prosimians? not sure! any way, postmark publicizes the Koln zoo in Germany, 1983:

The indri (Indri indri), also called the babakoto, is one of the largest living lemurs. It is a diurnal tree-dweller related to the sifakas and, like all lemurs, it is native to Madagascar.
