The aye-aye (Daubentonia madagascariensis), the world's largest nocturnal primate, is a long-fingered lemur, belongs to the Prosimian group, native to Madagascar. Aye-aye, issued for use in Jersey on September 2, 1997:  This stamp is one in a set issued to commemorate "wildlife preservation trust", a conservation organization with a mission to save species from extinction. It was founded by Gerald Durrell as a charitable institution in 1963 with the dodo as its symbol. West African Potto (Perodicticus potto) is a species of nocturnal primate. It is found in tropical West Africa, ranges from Guinea west to Nigeria. It is also known as Bosman's potto, after Willem Bosman, who described the species in 1704. The Senegal bush baby (Galago senegalensis) is a small, nocturnal primate, a member of the Galago family (Galagidae). They live in Africa south of the Sahara and nearby islands including Zanzibar. Uganda, Issued on December 3, 1979:
