Posted yesterday at StampAuctionNetwork.com

This is our 8th sale (so far over $140,000 has been raised) to benefit The American Diabetes Association. It contains lots donated by StampAuctionNetwork Auction firms Kelleher Auctions, Paradise Valley, Sam Houston, Dutch Country Auctions and Michael Aldrich, plus of course the autographed copy of Bill Gross's book, The "William H. Gross Collection - United States Classics, 1847–1869" -- with a "catch". You can be the seventh person to sign this classic and contribute to the ADA.
The sale starts with a $5 Columbian which in the StampAuctionNetwork census is the highest price paid for a used 245. The sale continues with some United States unusual tax stamps, two different Federal Duck stamp collection, a number of high catalog value Canada mint and used, a collection of scarce Trust Territory precanceled plate blocks, Foreign sets from A-Z, and finishes with a large accumulation of Cinderellas.

But the best part of this sale, is that it is for The American Diabetes Tour de Cure. Payment for your lots will be a charitable contribution to the ADA. If you win lots, payment will be made directly to the ADA using my American Diabetes Tour de Cure Donation page. The sale will close on November 4th at 12:00 noon EST.

Tom,
Please note that the forum rules typically disallow promotional threads/posts until a member has 50+ posts. It is a safety issue; it allows both the posting member and the community to get to know one another before beginning to do business with each other. However, in this case we will make a rare exception since you and SANS are already well known by the community. Please also note that fund raising is forbidden without prior permission from Stamp Community. Again, we will look past this rule and let this thread stand, in the future please let us know before posting any fund raising links.
I appreciate The American Diabetes Association efforts since I have only recently become diabetic ('drug induced diabetes' due to my transplant anti-rejection meds). It has given me a better understanding of what a Type 1 person goes through for their entire life.
Don

This is always a great auction and I have participated every year in which it's been held due to my own personal considerations. Appreciate Don and SCF allowing this post to stand. I would encourage everyone to take a look at the nice material and help out a good cause.
