Placing this thread, with earlies, to accommodate stamps to 1990 Sc#O153 "Ceres" Presumed Counterfeit The Overprint looks like Blue to me.  *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. *** |

Revenues with Boxed MORTE in violet. Would the Spanish translation be something like "Cancelled" or "Remainders" or   Forbin ID Revenues. REVISADO = Reviewed  |

Maybe 'AMORTIZADO'?

A bit of a shock to the system, we often hear how Catalogues overprice stamps, Looking at eBay today, there is not a stamp, or a multiple under about a $1 each 1000 stamps $980 I cannot see how my collection is going to expand at that rate. Inflation indeed. |

Well I sold 1,500 (duplicated) Aussie stamps for £13 last weekend. Inflation hasn't hit my listings.  |

Now that's my kind of price. I collect for fun, prices at $10 a stamp, that's just insane, not fun at all, (1 eBay listing for a small group of modern Salvador) Thankfully, being a WW collector I can move on to another country. Thank goodness for swapping, its where I get my most enjoyment. Mind you, I pay between $4 and $15 to send a swap depending who is taking my mail. |
