Revenues with Boxed MORTE in violet.
Would the Spanish translation be something like "Cancelled" or "Remainders" or

Forbin ID Revenues.

Maybe 'AMORTIZADO'?
Could mean invalidated or redeemed.

Just curious as to why to 'World Modern Stamps Mint and Used' when the most recent of these stamps was issued in 1919?

Reading my first paragraph.........

to wit
"Placing this thread, with earlies, to accommodate stamps to 1990"

I wish to keep just 1 thread for ALL El Salvador stamps to 1990 and beyond

A bit of a shock to the system,
we often hear how Catalogues overprice stamps,
Looking at eBay today, there is not a stamp, or a multiple under about a $1 each

1000 stamps $980

I cannot see how my collection is going to expand at that rate.
Inflation indeed.

Well I sold 1,500 (duplicated) Aussie stamps for £13 last weekend. Inflation hasn't hit my listings.

Now that's my kind of price.

I collect for fun, prices at $10 a stamp, that's just insane, not fun at all,
(1 eBay listing for a small group of modern Salvador)

Thankfully, being a WW collector I can move on to another country.
Thank goodness for swapping, its where I get my most enjoyment.
Mind you, I pay between $4 and $15 to send a swap depending who is
taking my mail.

El Salvador, National Palace 1907
Sc# 362 BI-COLOUR

However, it was printed using just 1 plate !
(The Frame, and the Vignette, were on the same plate)
