Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? The text is "Notdienst", German for "emergency service". Could be Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, or maybe a German colony. I've never seen these before, does anyone have any idea what these are?

Looking at these again, the perforations appear to be the same type of serrated roulette Germany used with some of the 1920s inflation (postage) stamps.

Rod, I saw that listing on eBay and the stamps fascinated me. If you don't know, then these are real stumpers!

Indeed, B,
I exhausted my searches. There was nothing even remote, from endless text strings.
I was hoping our member PostmasterGS, would have had some idea.

It seems highly probable, it has nothing to do with any postal cynosure.
