Scott mentions these varieties in the footnotes, but provides no value differentiation in the main listings despite the difference in printing quantity of each type.

I have seen where some collectors/dealers/sellers list and promote these as five types, labeled A-E, but the stamps from the right columns can only be ID'd when the selvage is present as seen in the original post.

Some examples on cover:
Right column of right pane with wide margin, used in 1967 so requiring a penny uprating:


Type 2/type 1 pair paying 8 cent domestic airmail from Kailua Kona, HI to the mainland in 1963:


Type 2 pair and Type 1 block of 6 with the narrow selvage at right on the rightmost pair, paying postage for 4 ounce domestic airmail letter in 1963:
