Unless it's through the global shipping program it surely couldn't cost too much? |

Bobby, My Boy Scout's motto, "be prepared"
I have seen shipping to Australia as high as $30 US (Souvenir sheet) Try not to assume.

I know this seller--he's a great guy I'm sure his shipping will be entirely reasonable. I don't get why shipping to Oz would be so high, was it registered? I charge $2.50 international, $3.50 if it's a large envelope. People be crazy |

For the Kangaroos, $3.50 possible OK, (Will fit a PO preferred) with larger packages (Souvenir sheets) I cannot get any cheaper than $14.40 from Australia (Up from $13.50) (With a mandatory Customs indicia)
Remember, we have to calculate Currency exchange on both sale and ship. There is a point where it is cheaper to buy at home.

Maybe off topic, what would be a reasonable international shipping fee for a big stock book with stamps? I saw 50 US$ for this, or for 3 empty stock books (20$ for 1). |

I've seen single stamps attract higher postage than $30 Rod. Crazy I know. |

Postal rates seem to have rocketed. Looking at the Royal Mail website, a 2kg small parcel to Australia is now £30. If you can wait, "economy", i.e. sea, is half that. |

2 months ago Literature from US 75Lbs (35 Kilograms) to Perth $575 US ( c $800 AUD) (Insurance included)
Still probably saved in excess of $500 from buying locally. (kudos to members of SCF to whom I am eternally grateful)

Rod, I'm happy to ship using USPS standard international first class for $1.70 at buyer's own risk. Registered mail is indeed quite expensive ($18.70 on top of the actual postage)... |

Thanks Gvol I posted the query, mainly due to some ebay lots prevent bidding due to lack of information etc. It may be a "heads up" for vendors.
For example I recently wanted to bid on one of Geoff's GB lots but "does not post to Australia" It was unable to be remedied.
