More arrows and the globe (bigger than the parcel, at least).

I collect arrows used in airmail borders on covers. Here's a sample:

Nice one DonSellos, watermark says 1938! and woodcut or lino-cut print has good atmosphere. There are arrow shaped airmail stickers featured by John Becker on page 2, but nice to see different format, printed on envelope.

Airmail was symbol of speed in that time - and often arrowy something is used to express that. I think the right hand end triangle is an arrow head on the first stamp, and the finger is the equivalent of arrow on the second one - I think.. Would you agree?

This is not precisely an arrow - but the paper plane is functioning as arrow to point Tokyo on the globe. I love the ring of envelopes .

Arrows and communication - well, the second one is not really an arrow, but the satellite (or rocket?) forms a shape of arrow.

Secret communication had to be cracked. This arrow is celebrating the piercing moment of Enigma, which was cypher device used by Nazi Germany.

Even on roads, we normally don't see many of arrows as on these stamps... It looks like a historical moment for the country and it was wise that they didn't introduce the change a day earlier.

This is not exactly a road sign - but related to road. It actually looks like "attention!" to the denomination 50pf..
