The background of this U.K .,2 d.,1961,Centenary of Post Office Savings Bank is shifted to the left and covers part of the image at center. Could this be considered for a variety?
The stamp at left is only to compare it with the one with shifted background.

Of course it is a variety, just not a major one. So is the first stamp used for comparison since the white area should not be in the frame around Queen Elizabeth's head (red color shifted down). This will not be listed in any major catalog since it is not a constant printing result; it could be noted in a specialist catalog. Perhaps worth a couple of pounds premium but likely not much more than that.

Harrison had only shortly before printing this stamp started to print bi-coloured photogravure stamps for the GPO. Registration errors are very common. Some are more marked than others. Although clearly shifted, this shift is not large enough to be listed in a specialised catalogue.

If at all this shift would command a premium (pence rather than pounds), the terrible fading of the stamp, still, would render it worthless.

Yes , I understand that this is not a big error but it's still a good small variation tath I think it would be wase to keep in my collection.
