eligies,
I not sure what you consider your time to be worth, but I would have just ordered another pane.

John, I'm retired & I allocate several hours per week working on my collection, including administer the collection. It took more time to calm down from the opening of the envelope returning the item then it did calling & again explaining the situation. It keeps me busy & out of my wife's way (& out of trouble). It's my hobby & 'time well spent'.

Xmas Eve Delivery: I received the replacement this morning. (before 7:00AM). Alas it was not the sought 'inverted-invert prize' I am glad to say that the S/S was pristine with all the normal inking faults. I had my chance this year & I will need to re-consider a purchase next year (if still on sale). I will take this piece, look with a glass to note any imperfections & add to my 'stash'. Kudo's to the staff at the Fulfillment Center for helping me get this straightened out. (Don -- The second call to try & correct this did involve a Supervisor & glad to have this positive (although somewhat disappointing) final result. I am happy to have had an honest chance to find the 'golden nugget')

It appears a new 'inverted invert' has been acknowledged. If still in the 4th Qtr Philatelic of 2023 I guess I'll be trying again...
