Sooooooo many things wrong in this email, yet I'm sure there are people that fall for it.
Indeed. I never claimed the enormous sums that a deceased, distant relative had left unclaimed in China (presumably before 1949 and left miraculously unscathed by the societal changes after that). I received two real, snail-mail letters about that.
What's sad is that there will indeed be folks that fall for it and get scammed, mostly likely folks that can least afford to lose their money. Now, where did I put that letter from the Nigerian prince . . .
