The inverts are well known. However, they are not priced as used in the Scott catalog, only unused. Now from your photo it cannot be determined, but the overprint must be under the cancellation ink to be good. For non-inverted overprinted stamps, used runs about 65-80% of unused.
Opinion: Forgery The tripartite air mail series was produced through use of cancelled original stamps only.
