Hi all
I keep looking at this stamp and can't find anything similar on the internet.
Hope you can clarify if inverted overprint or not?
Thank you

Looks like Sc# 488 1942 A59 1c on 0.5c Surcharge Sepia (HUNAN)
Dr. Sun Yat Sen

Opt looks dodgy, soaked or light or chem damage ?

Correct orientation for Opt.

The "1" cent numeral is quite unique, yours fails to offer examination.

Tip: Try to be a little creative in your thread titles
It helps all students of Chinese philately when "searching"

Something like "China Half Cent opt unknown"
or what ever you can see on the item to assist.

Thx Rod
Have no idea what you refer to when you say "opt"
Can you provide more information?
Thankyou

Sorry, Opt = Overprint

To be actually correct, it should be "Surcharge" rather than Opt
My bad.

An overprint is information added to the stamp later, that does not change the value of the stamp.
