Does anyone know the Vario S sheet number that I need to get which will display stamp booklets and booklet panes? I realize I can probably use a couple different ones that will fit them, but I'm looking for the particular sheet that has the most rows that will fit them.

Have you tried using the "search" function on this forum?

As a rule of thumb I thought they ranged from full sheet (1) to a 7 or even 8 row. I use a '2' for covers and a '3' for blocks. Not too difficult. I use everything up to 7 at the end of the day.

Yes I did do a search, but was hoping to get a quick answer from someone who has bought them for their own collection. I'll figure it out.

I just started collecting, so I don't even have an album yet, although I just ordered a Lighthouse Vario G this morning, but I still need to get the pages for it. I chose to collect booklets and their panes to begin with, my first online stamp purchases are in the mail right now, so I guess when I get them I will measure the height of the panes and see which of the Vario pages they will fit into the best, so I can get the maximum number of panes displayed per sheet.

Various 5S have 51mm tall pockets, 4S are 63mm and 3s are 84mm, those would be the 3 most common to use for booklets and panes

6s are 39mm which is prob not tall enough for most panes

Great, thank you! Yes, I would want to have the entire pane covered in the pocket, rather than having some of it sticking out.

This gives images of the pages and their internal dimensions.

I don't know whether the backs of booklets contain anything of interest. If they do, you might want to opt for clear, rather than two-sided black, stock-pages.

Since I'm just starting out collecting booklets and booklet panes, I don't know what is on the back cover of the booklets yet, if anything. Sellers of booklets only take pictures of the front cover from what I have experienced so far. I have my first three in the mail right now and hopefully will get them later this week. It would be nice if there was something of interest, like you say, on the backs, so the clear pages would be nice for them. For the separate booklet panes, I think I will go with the two sided black, I don't need to see the gummed side. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I have found that using a standard Vario page, where the strip is full width, the booklet tends to slip around. Lighthouse makes a Vario page for telephone cards that may be useful for booklets. The page size is the standard 8 1/2" x 11". It looks like this:

I more or less standardized on 2 pocket Vario sheets to store postal cards, booklets, etc, given the size can vary. 3 pocket often work but again when you order a bunch of Varios I considered flexibility over economy.
