I was just back in central Pennsylvania visiting family, and while there I stopped at Eric Jackson's shop and then visited Richard Friedberg's shop on the way home. While out there I picked up an item similar to an auction item that I've seen in the past, but darned if I can find it online now, and my memory is too foggy to recall the specifics.

I'm looking for auction results for any examples of the 1c Playing Cards (Scott # R2c) in a pair or larger multiple, used improperly as documentaries on document.

I have seen examples of single stamps used on document on several occasions, but I know that I saw a pair used on document at some point in the last few years at auction. I've checked Stamp Auction Network, the PF archive, Siegel, and come up empty.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
