I would like to introduce the readers of this Forum to an interesting weekly blog created by a postal historian. Rob Faux is a specialist in the postal history of United States mail to Europe, but his weekly blog often wanders afield.
His offering this week has to do with mail by rail, with observations from both the US in the mid 20th century, and some examples from 19th century France.
It may be found at

He has a backfile of over 100 posts, each one dealing with an area of postal history that attracted his attention.
Enjoy!
