Looking for any information on the embossed seal pictured above (sorry for the upside down one in lower center and other misalignments). What kind of document (stationery, envelope) were these originally a part of?

You have seals from corporations, colleges, churches and a court. They would have been used on any official documents, probably over a signature.

The wide variety of seals, yet a small variety of papers, suggests these might be test/proof copies saved as file copies by the seal manufacturer.

Some of them also look like they could have been used to mark the ownership of a library book.

The education ones could have been on official transcripts sent out by the institutions. Others, possibly on their membership documents.
