I have a Third Anniversary envelope from Richmond, Va. dated May 1, 1931. I would like to know which stamps are on the envelope there are (2) Washington 2 cent coil and (1) 1 cent Franklin. I would like to know which Scott numbers and year they are? Photographs attached.

Thank you

Your images do not show the stamps close or clear enough to make a determination. There are only a few choices, but you really need to know the perforation rates for both designs and need to see Washington up close to confirm the type. I know what they likely are but that is only good in horseshoes and hand grenades.

In 1931 they are all but guaranteed to be 632 and 634, but that better image would be needed to show it more conclusively.

"coil", must be Scott 599 (or slim chance at 599A)
Sharon, If I may ask, what printed or online sources did you use to try to ID these stamps before posting?
