We all do it to our liking and what works for ourselfs . As long as it has a method that shows organization that can be followed by a viewer ,than it is fine .Sometimes it takes a minute or two to figure out what the owner is doing .

OLDDUTCH2 -- I don't think ever seeing Steiner pages by themes. Someone suggested quadrilled pages and that could be a great option. If you are adventurous, you could always make the pages yourself either from scratch or using Steiner pages. You could actually use a page from let's say Poland, remove from that page what you don't need and then depending on whatever else you want to put on that page go to let's say Spain copy a set of boxes and move them to the Poland page you are building from and continue in the same process going to France and so on. Yes I know that would be tedious and very time consuming. I use Libre Office Draw and sometimes redo pages that have a multitude of stamps on a sheet so that I have separate boxes for the individual stamps or for varieties.

Another option would be to get the stamp sizes by either measuring them or getting their size online and draw your boxes accordingly. Since I have never used any other software except PowerPoint I will let other comment on the other programs.

Yes, I've got a little collection of these. It always irks me when catalogues lump the Hejaz in with Saudi Arabia - two very distinct dynasties and governments before the last and ill-omened Nejd attack on the Hejaz.

Absolutely GeoffHa, I read a little bit about the history of the two empires and the resulting conquest and war between the two in the early 1920's - it was very interesting.

I been posting with others about the coming day when boxes of Dennison Hinges are no longer avialable or can't been found after they were last made more than 40 years ago .

These are boxes of 50 packages of 1,000 stamp hinges of the best stamp hinges made . There was 5 boxes sold at stamp auctions over 3 auctions in 2024 ,so far the first half of 2025 ,no full boxes came up for auction , so as a silly side interest I am keeping track, when will after 40 years the last box is sold .

We do have sellers on EBAY who are most likely selling off those five boxes of inventory .

That day's coming soon, I'm afraid. It's too bad that making a better hinge isn't financially viable...

GVOL21 --- When you think about it ,using up any supplies of anything taking 40 years is unbelievable . I can't go 5 years on purchasing office supply paper to print my album pages ,think I am on my third manufacturing paper company from the office supply store .

I'm wondering if you would be so kind to give me a little blurb about what this thread is about? I've been lurking for a few weeks trying to figure it out. When I read the first page it seemed like it was maybe a light hearted thread about mine is bigger than yours but now it seems to be maybe someone's blog. Reading 100 pages to catch up is just a little more than I can deal with. lol. Sorry I've never been a social media person so I'm fairly stupid about that stuff but learning. Signed up on Facebook looooog time ago and have never been back or posted since. I likely won't input much but will tag along to learn depending on the threads purposes.

I'm one of those people you mentioned that no one knows about but has quietly accumulated a very large collection. Nothing spectacular just a lot of stamps. Well maybe a bright spot here and there. I'm one of the different kind of accumulators. World wide with stamps from nearly every country. Guess you would say I'm a stamp whore-der.

By the way I have 2 3/4 packs of those Dennison stamp hinges you covet that I'll never use because I've taken my collection digital. Lol. That was the catalyst that caused me to post. lol. That background was interesting.
