Cjd ----Didn't find any of those Inland Mail stamps in my albums so checked Scott catalog and didn't find them there . Must be a private issue or a local usage only . I will check my Cinderella collection .

Landoguakes ----We can only work on so much of a Worldwide Collection ,that is why most W.W. collectors take " the long game" approach of 20 or 30 years, even like me the 50 year timetable to build a decent collection .I am sure that there are other collectors who are making a list of what they like to buy or work on for 2024 .

If you put every stamp in a mount, the cost would be over USD$10,000 in mounts at current prices of around 3 cents standard definitive size mount (strips) as the ultimate custodian of their stamps.

I know each collector makes their own decision about mounts and the use of them .

For me I use them rarely . I use them on very expensive stamps ,like $100.00 catalog or higher , or on delicate paper stamps .

Many collectors who buy collections find a lot of MNH stamps already come in mounts ,so I just transfer those to my album pages . As far as putting MNH into my own mounts not unless there is a difference in catalog value but most recent stuff {1980 's and up } ,just hinge them if it is not over $20.00 or the whole set is MNH . It is a shame how much money new collectors spend on mounts for used stamps to be putting them on 2 cent stamps .

If you start jumping around the stamp auction web pages you find that the whole MNH thing is fading on their describtions ,maybe back in the 1970's and 1980's when investments was a big thing it had more meaning but now with collectors it doesn't mean the same .

Hinges would be terrific if they peeled well and collectors never slobbered like a dog. Since neither is guaranteed to be true…

As a worldwide stamp collector from a early age there was many years while growing up of just sitting at the public libaray of just looking thru the Scott stamp catalog and wishing that someday I would have some of those better stamps and being impress with the many complete sets that were listed in the catalog .

As my collection grew it was still those memories of all those complete sets that was a goal . That dream of getting those stamps never left me . Here is one of those "wish I had it " there is another few hundred that I am still working on .

Great looking stamps. I've always found yellow ones striking… good idea having the certs on the back… how do you do that? A pocket?

LANDOQUAKES ---- Those cert's are just placed in a large glassine ,so they always stay with the stamp on the same page . But I seen other collectors keep a last page in their albums in a pocker at the end of the binder or album . I just perfer to keep everything closer .

Just noticed the old glassine says Eastern Rumelia on it ,now crossed out .

Good to see the high realizations this week at a stamp auction for a huge worldwide collection in a large set of Scott's Internationals . The auction firm said it had 177,000 stamps mounted in that set of albums .

That lot had a lot of higher cv stamps in the collection. It came out to roughly 8 cents per stamp. Is that good?
