The first thing you can do, which will only cost you some time, is to get them out of those mounts and pick a handful of the nicer stamps and post up nice, big scans of fronts and backs, one stamp per scan.
I don't feel comfortable giving any advice or opinion about what to do with them without getting a better look at them.
And at the very least, we can get you Barefoot numbers for the revenue stamps. We're due for an updated edition of Barefoot BC Revenues, but right now, the last edition is probably rather difficult to source? You're not going to need it, if you're not going to go down this rabbit hole.
ISLANDER ----To answer your question about getting cert's and you want to use someone that everybody respects . -----The first is the Greene Foundation in Canada ,that I gave you previously , the other two are the A.P.S. and third is Sergio Sismondo of Syrucuse N.Y.{that's who I used for many years }.
Before this goes too much further, the Greene Foundation DOES NOT expertize Rhodesian stamps. They expertize BNA material, specifically Canada and Provinces.
Correction ------ They do not expertize all of BNA material . They have no experience with or about British East Florida . Here is a picture of me in British East Florida
