I read the partial cancel on this early Polish stamp as saying: KRASNE-ZDOL??
The L of ZDOL is the slashmark Polish L. The puzzling part is the ZDOL??
Krasne is a village in Poland, but my sources show no place in Poland beginning with Zdol. Could this be someplace now in the Ukraine?

I'd say Vayolene's i.d. looks good, superficially. (I'm no expert.) The route number would be in the bottom arc of the rings (i.e., just off of this stamp).

If you have access to borrowing from a philatelic library, Krzysztof Jankowski wrote Traveling Post Offices of the Republic of Poland that could confirm it.

Congrats on the Pillar, by the way. There used to be more of a fuss about that, years back.

EdziuMM just hit 500 posts, Pillar of the Community. It's an accomplishment.

Twelve, thirteen years ago, hitting "Pillar" was sort of a big deal, rewarded with a book of your choice. (Which of course you remember; that's for the benefit of the newer folks.)
