Anyone know the Scott # on this one? It looks like the recut plate with 4 lines.

Yes, I think you are right. Under higher magnification I do see some indents on the left and bottom. Too bad, it must have been a nice jumbo. The paper fooled me. It is the softest of the soft paper I have ever felt. You can almost fold it all the way over without it creasing.

These were not printed on thin paper. Maybe the stamp is thinned. Can we see the back?

The paper looks good. I do see an even pattern. There is a small hinge thin at the top and another shall thin on the left.

As posted above, a trimmed stamp with a thin. Actually a fairly common thing to find stamps from this era trimmed, big stamps were not all that unusual, and there were always people trying to make a fast buck around.
