Did you decide to give the 2,000 (over 70 boxes) and 1,772 lbs (number of boxes not specified) a miss or pick them up in your own truck?

Ches . --- I think Kellehers parking lot on the day of the auction is going to look like a red-neck bar with all the pickup trucks there .

He checked, but then he priced the cost of a hearse, and didn't want to incur that expense for his wife.

You don't sneak 70 boxes into the house with a bag of dog treats.

My plan for one of those subscription filled monster lots would be:

Do a first processing in Kelleher's parking lot and have the Salvation Army bring their truck. Get a fat charity receipt from them. Pack the remaining 200 pounds of stuff into my truck. Makes me more competitive bidding with no shipping and a tax deduction right away.

First rule to process those pallet size bulk lots is to clean the whole house ,so the wife shuts up about you spending too much time with stamps .

Second is repack all the stamp stuff you got around the house . Make room where to put all the boxes .

Third -the day before delivery head to the supermarket to buy 3 gallons of ice tea and a few treats .Then take wife out to go somewhere then out to eat . Remember your going to lock down for a week or two .

Fourth ---When the shipment arrives ,act surprised with so many boxes, tell the wife the catalog said 15 boxes not the seventy that are sitting on the front porch .

Fifth --- Roll out the trash dumpster . set up your sitting stool ,have your razor knife and have your ice tea ready . Now your ready to rock and roll .

Still got that "iced tea" problem, eh?

Sixth - feed "iced tea" to pot plants around the house.

Seventh - sell some Disney shares and order some proper tea.

Eighth - take Mrs Floortrader a delicious pot of tea in bed each morning. The Bettys cakes would be good with it, but wouldn't make the trip.

My wife is British.

I still have to remind her not to say "pot plants" when we are in Lowe's. She will state she is off to look at pot plants and away she goes to the Garden Center.

25 years later and she can't stop calling them that...

For the Yanks reading this, you would say "potted plants".
