Hi,
Going through boxes of my deceased mother-in-law's things to shred, a stack of "stamps" fell out. From what I gather, these are Cinderella Labels. There are about 100 of them, all marked "Staffa Scotland" with various values (40p, 60p, L1, L2) and they all have pictures of old cars on them.

There are several wax envelopes labeled "Cars $25". On the bottom right corner of some are the words: "Copyright 1981 [my mother in law's name]"

I'm thinking these are trash? Or is there somewhere I can send them to donate to a Cinderella collector?

Thanks for any info you can offer! Pics Attached

As I'm sure you know already, there are those who collect anything, including this stuff.

I, personally, would not shred - rather, I would give them away to anyone who expressed interest in them...

If you hang around SCF until you get 50 quality posts, you could run your own giveaway... Here's hoping that you do that!

Many of Staffa's stamps were produced by the controversial English stamp dealer Clive Feigenbaum. They were issued with the permission of the island's owner at the time, but were produced primarily for collectors, and are not thought to have ever performed any postal function.
The late Mr Feigenbaum appeared in the British courts several times for his stamp activities. Google the name for details!
