Would anyone have some sort of reference material/photos on what Scott refers to as "an elongated first character in second line of Arabic surcharge?"

Said reference is made, but no visual example is given in my catalog.

Thank you in advance for any knowledge on this.

It would have been easier if you added a scan.
Having said that, Scott doesn't show it, but if you look at Sassone catalog, the regular one is number 20, and the elongated character is 20/I, in which the first character consists of a longer line broken in 2.

Maybe this image will help.

That's right, Rod. The image you brought is Sassone 20 and the one I brought from google is Sassone 20/I

Got it, break in the line/added "-". So it would appear from Rod's photo that the 50/100 Mills are the original issue, and the 200/500 are the second printing. Thank you Rob Roy and Rod; much appreciated.
