I have a bunch of multiples of what appear to be China Scott 306. Here's one sheet of 20. Is there any other Scott catalog number this could be?

No specialist.
It's the only $5 un-overprinted type A37 I have in my records.
(Type ll with single line in Sun)
That's quite a multiple !

Thank you, rod222, for your input on this. Yes, I was surprised to come across a number of these multiples, and ALL have the same cancel: LANGCHOW (KAOLAN).

I did notice in the Classic Specialized that there are two printings: a wet and dry printing that have different design sizes (due to wet shrinkage), and also perforation differences. I was hoping that this was the only un-overprinted entry, and that appears to be the case.

I have trouble with LANGCHOW

was thinking LANGZHOU
KAOLAN failed my Google

Do we know for certain, which it is?

Now that was embarassing

Any links for Kaolan in wiki?

Chinese province of Kansu, of which Langchow is the chief city.

...and of course, now seeing that I mis-spelled what appears to be LANCHOW!

Kaolan appears to be an alternative name for Lanzhou

(from "meteonews")
