APS President Bob Zeigler Steps Down

Kirk's - I could not find a reason given. Perhaps Scott will comment?

He stepped down for personal reasons. Bob will remain on the Board as a voting member.

I hope he is well. I'm sure it was a very demanding position.

Bob was the man for the hour when we had a vacancy in 2018, and he volunteered to step up to the position. He was a collector's president, volunteering to travel around the country at stamp shows, stamp clubs, and other events to speak, judge, and represent the APS. For most of that time, he was also a managing partner of his law firm. We weathered the COVID shutdown during his tenure and paid off the Match Factory debt. I will always be grateful for his support and counsel.

Cheryl Ganz is the new APS President!

The American Philatelic Society Board of Directors unanimously elected Cheryl Ganz as president to replace Bob Zeigler, who stepped down on March 31, 2023. Ganz appointed Greg Galletti to replace her as vice president, confirmed by the APS Board of Directors.
