That 'FouK' is caused by the cancellation obscuring part of the 'R.'

NSK
I respectfully disagree!
I cannot see any cancellation anywhere close
It must be a plate flaw - in my opinion

Pshann - You will find minor differences in stamps printed over 100 years ago (and more modern for that matter). What you are engaged in is called "flyspecking" which is the practice of identifying tiny differences and anomalies in stamps. Nothing wrong with it at all but realize that your thrill might be someone else's nothing burger. Don't let it discourage you. While what you show above is actually pretty normal it can be interesting. Heck, I think a lot of double transfers fall into the flyspecking category but can fetch a huge premium.

I enjoy flyspecking and it is even more interesting when you find another just like it. However, I will have to encourage you to work on your scanning techniques as you need to vastly improve the scan quality for us to see much of what you are seeing.

Agree with Partime...
Especially when trying to illustrate fly-speccing level details, a higher resolution, sharper image is needed. Here is an example of a 600dpi scan which has been optimized ('Save As' in Corel paint Shop Pro) to around 124kb in size.
