Cuba Victoria Bru Sanchez Commemorative June 3, 1957 Victoria Bru Sanchez (1876 - 1918) was a Cuban nurse. She became the superintendent of the Hospital of Port au Prince in 1910. She died in the line of duty during a severe influenza epidemic in Cuba in October 1918.  |
