Here are images of a stamp featuring a portrait of Clara Barton (1821-1912), American educator, nurse and founder of the American Red Cross, designed by Mark Hess, printed by photogravure, and issued by the USA on June 29, 1995 as one of 20 stamps in a pane commemorating the American Civil War, Scott No. 2975c, plus a photograph of Clara Barton (c. 1866) by Matthew Brady (1822-1896) which was probably a model for this stamp's design, and a commemorative Civil War first day cover bearing this stamp, with a cachet.
