6 cent Garfield stamp with perf 11 left side 12 perf right. I can't understand how someone was able to tear the stamp off. Corners have 11 perf. What a strange stamp. Any value?

In my opinion, the stamp has seen a very "hard life". Someone has torn the corners and also a large rip in the stamp. There really is no way to exactly tell when the damage occurred but I think it is a good chance that it was done when the envelope was opened or after the stamp was removed from the envelope. I feel that the stamp has no market value and is not an error. Don |

, in the stamp's present condition it has a value of less than one cent. BUT, can you show the stamp on a perforation gauge to verify the perforation difference you mention. Such is not a currently recorded variety of the stamps as issued. Even if you show such a perforation difference it would need to be certified by an expert committee to confirm the stamp was not falsified in some manner. Even then the great damage would keep any value quite low, likely less than the cost of a certificate. |

Quote: One to throw in the bin, I fear. Not if the OP can sucker an eBay buyer into spending hundreds or thousands for it, like she's tried to do with other stamps. |

Let me restore my comment. I thanked the OP for delisting her ebay stamp sales. Also recommended less error and rare comments to elicit better responses.
I now see I had jujusales vs juju sales vs jujustamps issues. I still am, on ebay searching, but going to Haiti highest pricing I am seeing the $12,000 pricing and the rest of the stamps on the Haiti thread.

OP is currently listing two Haiti ($12k and $3k), a USA for $2k, China for $1800, and an Austria for $800. Nothing's changed in the past few days (see the Haiti thread). I have mixed feelings about this forum hosting/entertaining a (IMO) deliberate bad actor. |

Quote: OP is currently listing ... Haiti ($12k As to that listing which was the illustration for the OP in this: http://goscf.com/t/84309&whichpage=1 which was started by the OP per the first post on: Quote: Posted 05/26/2023 11:46 pm EDT . I only point out the date and time of starting that thread, worth a read, because the $12K eBay listing of the stamp began on 05/25/23 at 12{41 PM PDT, one day, eight hours and five minutes earlier. Oh, just for slaps-and-giggles, and as noted in the linked thread, the Haiti stamp, depending on color, catalogs used as 187 -- $0.65 188 -- $2.50 Edited for an added "ed" and "on" need for English. |

Some pretty creative descriptions of coins as well, including one offered as "a perfect 10" that appears to have a case of cystic acne. |

I have finally been able to pull up the 10 stamps being offered on ebay. Hey, charms and spells may work magic. |

The poster/seller is either playing silly games or has "issues". Looking at the Ebay listings they are exactly what used to be pointed out as undesirable behavior at best in this community. Nothing points to the poster genuinely trying to learn anything. The word rare is splashed about liberally and ludicrous prices are asked for junk. The stamp in this thread is a joke. Goodnight all. |
