Just thought I'd pass this along to whoever is interested. Got an email from them yesterday saying that it will be effective immediately. I'm assuming that means until what inventory remains is gone.

I just placed my final order.....assuming they even had what I ordered.

Lighthouse took over the Hawid operation, as far as I know. Whether or not they'll put seconds on the market, I've no idea.

If a company created a lots of seconds, the company should try to improve the process so the yield was much higher. Of course, a company could just lower the standards as a start.

The "accessories" sections of auctions are also a useful source of cheap mounts - quantities of opened and unopened packets etc.

I have looked at auctions but seldom find what I need since I only use clear mounts.
