Frankie, if you do not have a perforation gauge you can print one from StampSmarter.org for temporary use. Anyone collecting older US stamps should have a gauge

frankie,
You can learn more about the perfs on your stamp here
https://stampsmarter.org/1847usa/19...ntifier.html
There are several different perfs varieties for this issue. Please also note that perfs are rounded to the nearest /1/2 perf; slight variations are to be expected.

Lottery tickets would be a better investment for winning a jackpot be it this stamp or the other one you posted today. But who am I to kill hope, someone does win the lottery and folks do find one-sided perf 10s. A third 85A? Ahhhh, no.

Frankie,

The fun of collecting is the find. Be it a small find or a lottery win find. Keep looking and I am sure you will find something. Keep learning and enjoying the hobby.
