The pics are useless for seeing a grill. You need scans of the full stamp front and back at the very least with side lighting to show a grill. Use the forum search function to find many threads about how to take images of a grilled stamp.

I think the first thing you should do is to "get the side view" of what a grill is.
Your first picture should be a very high-resolution scan of the stamp's back area where the rectangular pattern of grill points are located. (Hint: your stamp doesn't seem to have such a rectangular area at all).

I can't suggest any search terms that will easily pull up that thread. Perhaps another reader can and will post the link here. Between the two threads you learn what you are looking for and how to post a photo of use. Edited for an "er" I missed. |
