Newbie question.

Does this miscut (or is it misperf?) have any particular value?

It's on the front of a postcard and cancelled but perhaps it was already cancelled when it was stuck here? The ink does not seem to extend beyond the margins of the stamp and also, there is no address on the back, which is a bit mysterious.

The postcard itself dates to 1900-1907, and the stamp is 1903, so that works.

What do you think?

Thanks!

It would maybe of interest to a specialist of these issues, but there is not much unusual about a misperforation

Mis-perforations can be desirable and have a value premium if they are more extreme (like 1/4 to 1/2 off-center). They are not errors, but considered oddities, worth a few dollars or slightly more.

The one you are showing is not very extreme and may be of interest to someone, but not at much of a premium over catalog value. The other oddity is that it is on the postcard not serving any postal duty - looks like hitchhiker...

The stamp is a mis perferation and doae have a small premium. The post card on the other hand is of a cemetery and is collected by funerary collectors by it self worth a few bucks.
You have a duel collectable the post card by post card and funerary collectors and oddities stamp collectors. Nice find, I agree looks to be a hitchhiker.
