The C3a was not included in the album with the mint Zepps I bought. It was reportedly in same collection . Maybe they will call.

I am totally confused by this post. What do wrenches and tractors have to do with the price of tea in China?

The Monkey Wrenches are in a display case where they belong(nice set) ,the original knuckle breakers. The BB guns are sweet, not my collecting area.
The IH's on the other hand shouldn't bring more than 40k as a group, although the farthest one with a cab might be a surprise. And then again everything is up\ higher. Nice auction.
Cheers , mark

I also meant to mention the curved Crescents are iconic, a true mechanics collection. A real mechanic. Someone who has turned a nut and survived by the knowledge in his hands. Worth the price for that set, whatever it be. Nice auction, thanks for showing. No C3A, but everything else. Cheers, mark

The estate sale was enormous, the C3a remains not for sale. Just wondering what we would pay for a Jenny invert.

I wish I had bought more, like usual . the Zepps were MNH. A case of assorted stamp mounts for 20 bucks.

This how a normal conversation starts:

I recently attended a local estate auction in "X" and it included a large stamp collection. You then go on to explain more about what took place and add your own thoughts. You provide a cohesive narrative so that the reader has a clue what you are talking about. You explain why tractors, bb guns and wrenches are pictured in a stamp forum post about stamps. Flesh things out for the reader and it becomes engaging. There was a C3a at the auction? Not at the auction? Explain yourself. Context, context, context.

The early US issues were also not present. It just leaves me wondering too if they will show up someday. The collector and his brother were eccentric bachelor farmers who lived near me. Quite remarkable history lovers. The C3a might require a 2 nd mortgage tho.

What is Clovnfire going on about? I am going through this thread and it appears that Clovnfire had some eccentric neighbors who collected a wide variety of items. Clovnfire appears to have attended some sort of auction, and appears to have purchased something. I think that Clovnfire is upset because it was thought that a C3a would be inside of a Zepp collection that he got at this auction. I think Clovnfire also purchased some stamp mounts, and wishes that he had purchased more items. It also looks like Clovnfire believes that some items were not sold and will show up in some future auction? Did I get some of that right?

After the auction, I heard from a friend that he was shown the C3a years before. It was in the collection, never it the airmail album which I purchased. Sorry for any ambiguity, enigmas, obscuity, opaqueness, dubious inconclusiveness. Anyway, many like to see great collections of quality. The auction had a nice "Checkmix",500 dollar bills, coins, stock certificates. I will again sell some bullion for the next " some sort of auction" every week if there is one. Stamps are more engaging for me. Cheers . an aside, the auctioneer mentioned the collection at the auction, was taken to a Minneapolis stamp expert for appraisal .$800 in value. Clovnfire is sometimes disturbed, but seldom. Schultz, a nice Minnesotan penned, Be of good cheer.
