Suggestions welcome:

Have this unopened pack from 2009.
They are in the original shrink wrap (14.5").
The mailers themself are 12.25.
Of course the packaging has the "Not suitable for......"
I would like to include them somehow with the other card displays (8.5x11)

So:
*Would you leave as is? I have other card packs left whole, with a sheet in the folder with a note saying see storage box for complete pack.
*Break out of pack, but leave unfolded in box with note .
*Break out of pack, fold bottom third up to fit 8.5x11.

Thanks,
pat

I struggled with this for years and recently decided that I couldn't really enjoy things that were sealed up and stored away. From an investment perspective, if the item is rare and the packaging adds significantly to the value, that is different. But for relatively common items, I open them and work them into my displays or albums.

I say keep it sealed. It's not rare but it's cute. People so easily toss packaging but in 20 years if you tear this open now it won't have any of the whimsy or charm it has now in the package it was meant to entice customers with and will just end up in a discount postage bin. If you feel the urge to open and want it out of your life just sell it to me

I agree, but if that is the case, how do you feel about booklets? If you have them, how do you "enjoy" them?

Oversize items are challenging to display. For storing large sheets of stamps I use these, which come in a variety of sizes:

They get stored in this box, though I find it a little flimsy:

Since your item is only 14.5" maybe this would work:
