Hey folks -

Recently scooped a few penny blacks and trying to identify them. Please help!
The person I obtained these from listed the plates as follows:

Plate 1

Plate 1

Plate 9

Any guidance welcome...still learning my plates and any tips most welcome. Is there a guide somewhere I could read?

First one, plate 1, likely before hardening, 1a.
Second one, possible plate 1, not sure. The left F seems somewhat tilted .
Last one: plate 4. Does not come close to plate 9. Also, the red MC is unlikely on a plate 9.

Edit: This one has the Nissen plates that can help comparing.
