I am a cub scout leader and am putting together a stamp collecting program for the cub scouts and the boy scouts in my area. I already run a coin collecting program for them.

Gussyboy:

I was a Wolf Cub and a Boy Scout. For 18 years I was an Assistant Scoutmaster, Assistant Venturer Advisor, Scoutmaster, and Assistant District Commissioner with Scouts Canada. When I lived in the United States for a year and a half, I was a Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner and doubled as an Assistant Scoutmaster. When I came back to Canada, I helped set-up the B-P Scouts of Canada. I served as an Assistant Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster, and Rover Chancellor. I am a B-P Rover Knight (and as a Rover, you are a Rover for life), but hanged up my Stetson three years ago. Yup... we still wear the Stetson and khaki uniform, here.

I no longer volunteer with the Boy Scouts, but I do run the Youth Booth at ORAPEX, and would gladly take a donation of stamps for the children at the Youth Booth.

David G.You are one of the few and great who have helped shape a young person's life thru scouting! My hubby was a scoutmaster for years--he still has grown men come up to him and thank him for being their Scout leader. Thanks for sharing!

Nice Cover there Bandicoot. There is even a city named Subiaco in Arkansas. I thought was neat seeing the same name on the cover from W.A. there.

I might go buy there this week and see if the old house is still there.
Most houses in that area now are heritage listed and its so costly to repair them no one wants to buy them.

Bandicoot
Package recieved today!
Thank you for your donation to my scout program. It will be tough to pass some of them on as I don't have many of them! I love the scouting stamps. How many are there in the 100th anniversary set? Thats also the only FDC that I have ever recieved addressed to me. Thanks!
