For today: Canceled April 4, 1927 in Sandoa, Belgian Congo. Now a town in the Lualaba province in the extreme southwest corner of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which used to be part of Katanga.  |

Canada Scott 41 Cancelled on April 5 1897 at BEETON ONTARIO Note the inverted 5 slug   Beeton is approx 90km north of Toronto and was a quaint little farming community. Now ruined by developers like so many areas in southern Ontario. They still hold the annual Honey and Garden Festival in May.  |
