I Need Help Pricing A Confederate Capital Richmond Five Cent Stamp

I don't know if my stamp is considered an actual stamp or not. I inherited a stamp collection. I am interested in selling, but I'd like to do my research first. However, I've had a lot of confusion during my learning process and all the eBay and mainstream prices and accuracy of the standard web. So I thought I would give it a try and pick some professional stamp collectors brains. So I guess this is just a test run. I don't know if administrators can move topics from this formum to a better forum, I'm uncertain that this will even go through, but here's trying.

The stamp is a "bogus" issue - a fantasy created to deceive collectors. The stamps are still collectible and that would bring maybe $10 - $15 on eBay in better condition. Your stamp is missing a corner so maybe $3 if you are lucky.

How sure are you of this? I've been continuing my research and I thought it may have been confederate states postmasters provisionals. Due to the fact it's in a lot of vintage stamp, collectors, United States, postal stamp albums. Plus the paper and the other stamps that are on the same page all seem to fit the time era by visual and likewise post marks or cancellations. Have you seen it before?

Thank you SPQR, I indeed found the same information eventually so thank you for your expertise and hope to have your input on stuff in the future> I am a beginner so I need to know these things and I am willing to do the footwork, but it does help to find information a little sooner in regards to myself not to this site. It's just the web, worldwide web seems to have so many scams, fraudulent claims it's hard to differentiate between truth and deceit. I apologize for my skepticism.
