Acquired this booklet from a lot that I purchased at a flea market. Are there any swedish stamp experts that would weigh in on any notable stamps? Thank you!
All these stamps are normally very common and have almost no value. Some of them are known with rare variants of watermarks but if there have been any such ones they have probably been picked out. But on common stamps like these collectors look for rare or nice postmarks and here there are two stamps that are somewhat better. It is the 56a postmarked Jemshög and the 62 postmarked Hölö. A normal price for them would be about $2 each.
If you can't tell what has suddenly improved in price from the prices listed in this picked over approval book, one should stay away from it. Approvals priced as net $0.01 to $0.02 in the last 40 years and ignored as unsold have not gone up much if at all. While during that time period the listed catalog minimum has risen to $0.25, that is NOT reflective of the increasing value of minimum price stamps. That is reflective of the inflationary rise in the cost of labor not the value of the underlying piece of printed paper.
