For all its cheeriness it disguises a dire message.Seems to be a lady writing to another as WW2 looms and they talk about having gone through it before.It ends with the lady hoping nothing comes of the troubles as her husband is of draft age.

These are some great covers. I had a Great Aunt back in the 30's that went on a world tour collecting postcards as she traveled. Then in the late 60's did it again. Will have to dig out about six cases of old cards and start posting for all.
