US 40c Airmail stamp 1980 with varieties. The first pic seems normal. The 2nd pic has a different collar colour. The 3rd pic has a color shift around the eyes and nose. The 4th pic is a close up of the 3rd pic showing the colour shift. Will appreciate your advise and opinions if these are varieties or error. Thank you.

I see no errors, The second one is a changeling ( too long in the sun ? )
The second one is, oddly enough, the only without a color shift - look at the placement of the word USA
No errors here

Look at the airplane on the first one. Ever so small shadowing to right.

1. Tagging ghost on plane, adds small interest, but does not change catalog value beyond the single stamp basic price of 25 cents. This is considered a freak in USA philatelic terms of art: https://www.efocc.org/Resources/Hot...AA_Cover.php See Freak 57.
2. Chemical Changeling.
3 & 4 ink flaking off due to soaking methods and or additional abrasion.

Why do you keep posting and asking if these are errors? As a 40 year philatelist, you seem not to know much after all of this time.

Yet you are told to check a catalog in many threads. Folks even post shots of catalog pages. Collecting 40 years but no catalogs?

Even someone looking for a money maker in their collection needs to invest in some information. And from your many threads that I have sorted below seems to show your focus is on finding the money maker.

Sadly, every stamp for which you made an inquiry has been a damaged stamp except one. #1 above.

Edit: Changed 'you' to 'your.'
