The problem is back again on Edge. I cleared the 176 cookies yesterday and it did not fix it. Did it again this AM and it is OK for now. Anyone else having this issue? It worked fine on my IPad.

Was hit with that today. Cleared cache and cookies. Then went to my search history and clicked on one of my prior times from today. Returned to normal all correctly logged in.

During the repeated log out I took this screenshot:
because I have been logged in continuously until the problem began 5-10 minutes before the screenshot. Note the time of last visit which was 10 days before now.

I have no idea what's going on. It has not happened to me even once.

It can be an issue if your PC/Phone clock is off, but haven't heard of that happening in years.

What browsers are everyone using that this is happening to?

You are kept logged in by a cookie, that cookie gets deleted, for whatever reason, you will be logged out. Maybe a browser update changed something with browser cookie behavior?

I did find this...
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_b...i?id=1952564

But that doesn't seem to be exactly like this.

Bobby:

I use Windows 11 and Chrome.

This started for me again this past week, and on a good day I stay connected all day.

I just cleared cookies, and updated Chrome per their request.

One side effect that I see is that when I am logged off, I often cannot log back on using the password manager, as for some reason, it will not recognize your login field, and I have to manually enter the user name and password.

Chrome seems to be pushing updates and reboots frequently, maybe they really have problems.

Bobby, I will add what I should have included above. I am using a Thinkpad laptop with Windows 10 and up to date Firefox.

It got really bad this afternoon. Kept logging me out repeatedly and doing weird things. Cleared all cookies and it stopped. Getting to be super annoying.

I cleared the cache and cookies, and all worked well for a day. Then, it did it again!

Went through the process again and it has worked OK for a few days. It's very strange.

Wow! I had to delete 4 weeks of cookies and data to get back in!!!! I have had this issue for several months. I only have an issue with this site. The sister site; coin forum, I have no problem. I work for a living online and this deleting cookies every week is a real pain.

To be honest, I am clueless. I've used Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Edge, and it hasn't happened to me once.

I agree this shouldn't be happening, but I don't know why it's such a pain to clear cookies. I mainly use FF and it's 2 clicks to clear SCFs cookies, takes about 5 seconds. Click the padlock, then clear cookies, and it's done in a few seconds.

At least for Edge I cannot find a way to clear SCF cookies in one click. I have to manually delete each group which is about 40ish individual items. Maybe I am missing a shortcut?

As I have said before I never have an issue with Safari on my IPad.
