An announcement from J. H. Underwood, Postmaster of Agana, Guam (The only post office on
the island at the time) taking over the mail services and delivery in the five towns (Agana, Asan,
PIti, Sumay, and Agat) in the northern part of the island on January 1, 1931. Guam Guard Mail
ran the mail from Agana to the two southern towns (Merizo and Inarajan) until April 8,1931.
